The Monastery of Ostrog was founded by the Saint Vasilije (Saint Basil) the Miracle Maker and it is one of the most visited Christian shrines. For more than 3 centuries, this holy site gathers a people of all nations and religions from all around the globe, not just orthodox Christians. Since the foundation of the monastery in the 17th century until the present day the healings and other miracles is constantly occurring.
